The receiver is engraved with a South American dealer style (such as Belloto & Tognonato of Buenos Aires, Argentina) floral pattern with a rope and scallop border. The left side is engraved "MODEL, 1873". Blade front and folding ladder rear sights and buttstock compartment (cleaning rod not included). There is a brass collector's tag on the lever marked "31".
