Receiver manufactured 1895. Barrel replaced. The included factory letter lists the rifle in .45-70 caliber with a 30 inch #3 octagon barrel and a plain trigger when received at the warehouse on 3 October 1895 and shipped on 12 November 1895.
OD - VERY GOOD- all original parts; none to 30% original finish; original metal surfaces smooth with all edges sharp; clear lettering, numerals and design on metal; wood slightly scratched or bruised.
