OE - GOOD - some minor replacement parts; metal smoothly rusted or lightly pitted in places, cleaned; principal lettering, numerals and design on metal legible; lightly scratched, bruised or minor cracks repaired; in good working order.
Introduced in 1878. Approximately 310 of these revolvers were manufactured with shoulder stocks on contract for the Australian government. Both have matching serial numbers on the butt, cylinder, and barrel latch. Two-line barrel rib marking ends with the reissue patent date. Both come with a period correct and proper scarce shoulder stock featuring nickel plated attaching hardware and hard rubber S&W buttplate, a leather holster, and a leather scabbard for the stock. The "B" revolver has a faint broad arrow visible on the butt. The accessories for both are good or better showing generally mild wear.
