Manufactured in 1916. This pair of pistols were engraved by the renowned engraver Robert Valade signed by Valade on the grip frame, and are in a custom, matching numbered wooden Colt display case. Purportedly these two pistols were among the last works competed by Valade before his death. Includes a letter confirming Robert Valade was commissioned to engrave this pistol, two holsters, and two boxes of ammunition.
