Description:

One of 1,000 Model 1909 revolvers manufactured for the U.S. Navy, with less surviving today. Butt number: 309. Consignor indicated that the Perspex grips were shipboard handcrafted from a WWII aircraft canopy. With extra wood grips.

Rating Definition:

Very good overall with some brown and gray patina, mild spotting and scattered handling marks and edge wear. Cylinder arm has some play when closed but otherwise mechanically fine.
