Manufactured by Wilson Arms of Brunswick, Georgia, using components from the famous Swedish M/45 "Swedish K" submachine gun. Homegrown in Sweden late in World War II, the M/45 took lessons from the other "tube gun" SMGs of the day, adding some refinements without losing sight of reliability and speed of production. Adjustable post front and 3-leaf notch rear sight, with the Wilson markings on the left side of the receiver, Swedish "crown" proof on the left side ahead of the detachable magazine well, ventilated heat shield, smooth grip panels and a side folding stock with a rubber cover on the comb. The muzzle has been threaded, with a crude thread protector installed.
Very good as refinished, with light scratching and wear overall and rust on and around the heat shield. The magazine is stuck in the well, and a thumb groove has been added to the left grip panel. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 479.
