The Pieper Model 1893 revolver operates along a gas seal design where the cylinder moves forward to seal during firing. The same concept was used on the Nagant revolver. Other design elements include a rebounding hammer and swing out cylinder with hand ejector system. These revolvers were popular in Mexico with the Mexican government purchasing several thousand.

Fine overall as custom embellished, with a few patches of light pitting and edge wear, and some light handling marks in the grips. Mechanically fine.
