Both barrels marked “F.P. CARON a Paris. Arq. de S.M. L’Empereur” on the top flat. Extensive floral scroll engraving on the metal and carving on the stocks. Both pistols with blade and notch sights and numbered "1" and "2" in gold on the breech plugs and tangs.
Rating Definition:
Fine, with mostly a grey patina, some mild flash pitting, and some scattered minor handling marks on the wood. Mechanically excellent.
