Manufactured in 1918, falling within the approximate known U.S. trench shotgun serial range of E613,000 to E705,000, but lacking U.S. Ordnance markings. Bayonet lug marked "PAT.JAN.15 & MAR.19.1918" with absent heat shield, choke marked "CYL" for cylinder, and with a 14" LOP. Includes a Winchester "circle/W" marked M1917 bayonet, absent scabbard.

Fine, retaining original finish with scattered freckling/brown patina, light edge wear, minor pitting, and scattered light handling marks. The otherwise very good stock is fine with a large section missing from the toe of the butt and with crisp forearm ribbing. Mechanically excellent. The bayonet is excellent.
