One of roughly 14,700 Tankgewehr (also called T-Gewehr) Model 1918 13.2 mm TuF single shot bolt action anti-tank rifles manufactured by Mauser for the Imperial German Army from May 1918 to the end of World War I later that November. Receiver ring marked with Mauser "banner" and "1918" date, "crown/Gothic letter" and "imperial eagle" proofed. Matching visible serial numbers on the barrel, bolt assembly, bolt catch, trigger housing, barrel band, and rear sight. Fitted with a two-piece walnut stock with pistol grip and faint "crown/Gothic letter" proof and matching number on the bottom. Bipod not included. These rifles are exempt from NFA provisions as specified in section III of the official ATF Curios or Relics list.
Good, with traces of original blue finish in protected areas, scattered spotting/freckling, minor pitting, scattered brown patina, and scattered mild handling marks. The rear sight ladder is bent slightly upwards. The stock is also good as sanded and re-oiled with cracking at the pistol grip, dowel inset repairs, and a chunk missing from the right side of the butt. The safety lever is non-functional, otherwise mechanically fine.
