Marked with Imperial German "crown/crown/U" proofs, "12" on the loading gate, "E. SCH/23" on the front of the frame and "2 GR N.G.P. M/71" (2 Gram Neues Gewehr Pulver M/71 meaning two grams of the new rifle gunpowder for the M1871 military rifle) on the side of the cylinder. The trigger has a loop for attaching a line. These boat or ship revolvers were used in large model ships.

Very good with dark brown patina and light pitting throughout. Mechanically fine.
