"1917" dated chamber, "DWM" monogram on the toggle link, fixed blade front and adjustable tangent rear sights, British "crown/BNP" proofs on the left of the barrel, frame and barrel extension, three "crown" and Gothic letter German military proofs on the right of the barrel extension, and Imperial eagle firing proofs on the barrel, barrel extension, and breech block. All matching visible serial numbers including the interior of both checkered walnut grips, and fitted with a blue finished magazine with unmarked walnut hardwood base. Includes period original "trommelmagazin" snail drum magazine.

Very fine, retains 85% original blue finish with some edge wear, smooth gray and brown patina, and some freckling. 30% straw colors remain on the small parts. Grips are also very fine, with an absent small section at the top edge of the left panel. Mechanically excellent. Snail drum magazine is very good as refinished, with some patches of light pitting visible underneath the finish.
