Manufactured c. 1932-1934. This is an excellent example of a Model 1930 commercial Broomhandle Mauser pistol. This model was the last of the Broomhandle Mauser pistols before production stopped. Features a large reinforced barrel over the breech area with two milled panels on each side of the frame and lacks the milling along the lower radiused edge of the upper receiver. The top of the chamber area is marked "WAFFENFABRIK, MAUSER, OBERNDORF A/N", the left side rear panel area has the "MAUSER" logo, and the right side is marked "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER OBERNDORF A. NECKAR D.R.P.u.A.P. " The tangent rear sight is graduated from 50-1,000 meters. Fitted with replacement high quality reproduction walnut grips. Includes a shoulder/holster stock with highly attractive custom deep relief carved oriental style scenery of dragons on either side and a temple on the rear. Also includes a modern canvas/leather wrapped fitted case. Import marked barrel extension.
