Originally manufactured in Belgium and imported by Steyr of Secaucus, New Jersey as a semi-automatic rifle in "metric" pattern, and converted to selective fire operations by Phoenix Armory of Phoenix, Arizona. Adjustable post and peep sights with the Phoenix marking added to the left side of the magazine well, FN/Steyr markings on the right side of the receiver, and a "S/R" marked right handed selector with functional but unmarked full auto position. Fitted with a long flash hider, folding bipod, ventilated forearm, rail top dust cover, matching numbered full auto pattern bolt carrier and bolt, ribbed "U.S.A." marked grip, and a fixed buttstock. Magazine absent.
Fine as upgraded to selective fire, with 80% plus original matte black finish, with spotting/light rust and minor damage on the flash hider, typical casing impact wear on the top cover and ejector port, and mild wear and flaking. The furniture shows minor scratches and wear. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 479.
