Manufactured prior to World War II. Beaded blade front sight, flip-up rear sight, and German claw mounts holding a Leupold Vari-X III 1.5-5x scope on the matted solid rib, factory markings, front sling swivel, bands of engraving at either shotgun breech, pre-World War II German proof marks, chambers measured 2 1/2 inches with extractor, and choke constrictions of .016/.034 inches. The casehardened sideclipped sidelock action displays attractive scroll engraving with maker signatures on either side and features a rifle cocking lever on the left side,, cocking indicators, double triggers, and tang mounted flip-up peep sight and safety. The gun is fitted with a nicely figured and multi-point checkered forend as well as a pistol grip stock with raised cheekpiece, casehardened steel grip cap, engraved casehardened cartridge trap with integrated rear sling swivel, and horn buttplate. Length of pull 14 1/8 inches. Weight 8 lbs. 4 oz. (with scope).

Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and vivid casehardened finishes with minor handling evidence, a few small blemishes in the wood, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent. Scope optics clear.
