Model 61s were produced from 1932 to 1963, this rifle was manufactured in 1941. It features a dovetail front sight, adjustable rear sight, 3/4 tubular magazine, the long 17groove flat bottom slide and pistol grip stock with a checkered steel buttplate. Standard barrel markings.
Very fine. The rifle retains approximately 90-95% of the original finish with edge wear on the receiver and buttplate, thinning on the magazine tube and some wear on the rear portion of the barrel from cycling the action. The wood has had an extra coat of varnish added with the balance having scattered light dings and scuffs. All markings are crisp. Mechanically excellent.
