Also known as the " New Departure" or " Lemon Squeezer", the fourth model was produced from 1898 to 1907. Pinned front blade sight, notch rear sight which is part of the T-bar latch, standard two line address/ patent dates on top of the solid fluted barrel rib, caliber marking on the barrel, 5 round auto ejecting cylinder, casehardened trigger, and grip safety. Complete with correct factory box.
Excellent with approximately 90% of the original nickel finish remaining with some minor flaking and scattered bubbling to finish. The blued trigger has the strong beginnings of a smooth gray patina. The trigger retains heavy amounts of vivid and bright case color. The grips are excellent with some minor scratches. The checkering is sharp. The box is very fine with some minor edge wear. The labels are very fine with some minor age stains and some light edge wear. The overall printing is clear.

Excellent with 95% of the original nickel finish remaining with some light flaking and some minor frosting. There is the strong beginnings of a smooth gray patina on the blued trigger guard. The trigger retains strong amounts of vivid and bright case color. The grips are very fine with the right grip having been repaired near the frame and grip juncture. The grips show minimal handling marks and a soft yellow patina on the edges. The markings are clear. The box is very good with the vinyl beginning to pull away from the corners and moderate age staining overall. The interior and exterior labels are very good with age discoloration and some light stains. The printing is clear.
