Austrian made percussion pistol with a six grooved rifled barrel marked "'PETERLONGO A INNSBRUCK" on the top flat and fitted with a fixed front blade and notch rear sights. Bag shaped grip with iron buttcap and finger sculpted trigger guard. The iron lock plate is unmarked with a plain hammer.
Fine. All metal surfaces have been cleaned to a bright finish at one time and are now beginning to age again. The trigger, trigger guard, tangs and rear sight retain very faint limited traces of case color. There is a minor crack on the side of the hammer. The wood is very fine with some minor scratches, dings, dents and nicks. There are a few moderate gouges. The marking is clear and crisp.
