Manufactured in 1924. Pinned blade front sight with bead, sporting leaf rear sight, full length magazine tube and saddle ring stud and ring mounted on the left side of the receiver. Standard two line left barrel side address/patent date marking following by the two line smokeless powder and caliber markings. The upper tang is stamped with the three line model/trademark. Mounted on a plain forearm and straight grip stock and forearm with carbine buttplate.
Fine. The barrel and magazine retain approximately 75% faded original blue finish with scattered minor spotting and some light surface oxidation. The receiver has a smooth mottled gray patina with traces of original finish on the lower tang and around the saddle ring stud. The lever and buttplate have a smooth dark patina. The wood is fine. There are a few overall scattered minor dings and dents. The markings remain crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
