German silver ramp blade front sight and screw adjustable rear sight, on barrel marked "W. KNIES - DARMSTADT" on the top flat with a Nitro proof on the upper left near the breech. Casehardened frame, with decorative scrollwork on the frame, bolt, upper tang and trigger guard. Equipped with a double set trigger, horn grip, and a checkered safety and butter knife style bolt. Checkered straight grip stock with horn Schnabel tip, raised cheekpiece and sling swivels.

Excellent, with 60% of the blue finish on the barrel, showing mild edge wear, scattered spotting and the start of a smooth gray patina. Light pitting is visible on the rear sight, which needs adjustment. Case colors are very good, turning silver at the high points and edges, with strong and vivid color on many parts. Stock is good, with pressure dents, dings and scratches and some mildew spots on the varnish. Mechanically excellent.
