Produced in limited quantities circa 1910. The top of the barrel is marked "CAL 30" followed by the two line Standard Arms address and the two line M.F. Smith patent dates marking on the left side. Blade front sight (missing bead) and adjustable rear sight. The right side of the brass forearm has a moose head and forest scene and the left side has a mountain lion head and a forest scene. Straight grip stock with a brass "SACO" monogrammed buttplate.
Near excellent. The rifle retains over 95% original blue finish with minor thinning on the barrel and gas port, some minor forearm wear and gray forming on the high edges. Gas port has some mild dings. The forearm and buttplate retain about 95% of the black paint. The otherwise very fine stock has had a coat of varnish applied with some minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
