Manufactured in 1962. This rifle features a blade front sight with bead on top with an adjustable sporting type rear sight. Standard barrel markings, a 3/4 length magazine, 17 groove flat bottom forearm and plain pistol grip stock with a Winchester checkered plastic buttplate. There is an "A" suffix stamped under the serial number on the bottom forward portion of trigger guard assembly. The Winchester Model 61 Magnum was produced from 1960 to 1963.
