Model 1902 Rolling Block rifles were manufactured by Remington c. 1902-1910, built on the No. 5 action, chambered for the smokeless 7 mm Mauser cartridge and intended for military and commercial sales around the world. This model features improvements over the Model 1897 before it, including a rotary extractor, a side-swept breech block lever, and a strengthened upper handguard with metal clip at the rear. Barleycorn blade front sight and a folding ladder notch rear sight graduated up to 1,900 yards. "CAL. 7 M.M." marked on top of the barrel. Two small threaded holes on top of receiver.

Exceptionally fine overall, retains most of the original blue finish, nearly all of the original captivating case colors on the receiver and trigger guard, some dings and scratches in the wood, with distinct edges overall. Mechanically excellent. This is an attractive example of a Remington Model 1902 Rolling Block rifle!
