Description:

Eighteenth Century European small sword with 30 1/2 inch fluted triangular blade. The sword has an ornate cast silver hilt with D-shaped knuckle bow and kidney shaped counter guards. The grip and ball pommel are decorated with detailed military trophies and relief scroll work. The relief decorations are continued on the knuckle bow and the top and bottom of the counter guards. There is a small gold inlaid scroll decoration on one side of the blade. This is a high quality 18th Century small sword.

Rating Definition:

Good. There is some deep pitting on the blade below the counter guards but the balance of the blade has a smooth silver-gray patina. The ornate hilt is in very good condition.
