Fine French Brass Barreled M R Versailles Marked Flintlock Pistol
Cannon muzzle with a sighting wedge cut from the top, marked "M R VERSAILLES" on the right side flat ahead of the touchhole. This flintlock pistol is 13 inches in overall length. Brass lock plate is unmarked. Smooth pistol grip stock, with brass tipped wood ramrod, brass furniture, "M:G" carved into the grip and a brass buttcap.
ConditionFine, showing a mixed patina on the brass components, with mild handling marks overall. Stock is also fine, with a few cracks, tiny chips and scattered dents. Mechanically very fine.
