The border engraved lock plate is script marked "Ulrich in Bern" in front of the hammer. "ULRICH IN BERN" is repeated on the top barrel flat along with a proof, all marked in gold inlay. Fixed sights, with an engraved upper tang and hammer. Adjustable trigger with brass trigger guard. The full length stock has a checkered pattern on the grip area, two stock wedges with brass escutcheons, two brass ramrod pipes, and a brass inlaid shield on the stock flat. A brass reinforcing strip appears on the back of the grip area, extending to the lion head brass buttcap. Complete with a wooden ramrod with ivory tip.
Good. The action and barrel have a smooth dark patina with some minor pitting overall. The brass is fine. The revarnished stock is good with a repair on the right side of the forearm and a couple hairline cracks near the lock plate, along with some minor handling marks. There is some wear in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically fine.
