Made in 1917. Dovetail blade front and semi-buckhorn rear sight, with the two line address and trademarks on the barrel, and the three line upper tang marking. 2/3 length tubular magazine with patented fold out handle. Plain straight grip stock and forearm with iron forearm cap and carbine buttplate.

Refinished, with an artificial brown patina on the receiver and a mottled gray on the barrel and magazine, along with some scattered spotting. Barrel is a shortened replacement. The stock is very good, with some scratches, dings and varnish loss. Magazine needs adjustment, otherwise mechanically fine.
