Fine. The barrel and magazine tube retain 40% original blue finish with a smooth brown patina. The receiver retains 30% original blue finish, mainly around the saddle ring and protected edges, with a smooth brown patina on the balance. The lever and buttplate have a smooth mottled brown patina. The wood is very good with a series of small gouges on the left side of the stock and overall scattered minor dings and scratches. The markings are clear and crisp. The action is excellent.
