Manufactured in 1922. Standard nickel steel marking on the left rear of the barrel with "30 GOV'T'-06" U.S." on the left rear at the breech, two line address/patent dates on the left side of the receiver, "MODEL 1895/-WINCHESTER-/TRADE MARK REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. & FGN." on the upper tang and the serial number on the lower tang. Marble's front blade and adjustable semi buckhorn rear sights and mounted with a smooth Schnabel forearm with ebony insert and straight grip stock with a steel crescent buttplate.

Very good as partially refinished. The barrel retains 40% original blue finish with some areas thinning to a smooth plum patina and some scattered minor scratches. The receiver and magazine have an artificial smooth brown patina and scattered original blue finish, (25%). The revarnished wood is good with a few overall scattered minor dings and handling marks. The markings remain clear and crisp. The action is excellent.
