Manufactured in 1954. Features a hooded ramp blade front, rear sight has been removed and filler block installed and the receiver is equipped with a Lyman 66A peep sight. Standard barrel markings with the Winchester oval proof on top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. 1/2 magazine, and mounted with a checkered semi-beavertail walnut forearm with steel end cap and pistol grip stock with a hard rubber Winchester grip cap, non-factory added vented White Line recoil pad and leather sling with quick release sling swivels.
Very fine. The rifle retains 98% original blue finish with some muzzle wear and a couple minor scratches on the breech end. There is some minor thinning on the inside, contact area of the lever and some edge wear, and some thinning on the bottom of the receiver. The wood is fine as modified (see above) with most of the finish and some scattered minor dents and dings. There are a few nicks in the checkering on the right side of the wrist, otherwise the checkering is crisp. The markings are clear. The action is excellent. The sling is very good.
