Produced without sights, with a band of engraving around the flared muzzle, light engraving on the tang and breech, "London" signed on the top flat and a "crown/ V" proof on the left flat. The uniquely shaped lock (flash pan) is signed "Durs Egg", with a burst pattern around the touchhole, rolled equipped frizzen spring, high fence and martial themed engraving. Checkered straight wrist stock, with a silver forearm tip, engraved silver ramrod head, wedge escutcheons, trigger guard and shotgun buttplate, with a silver square on the wrist engraved with a rampant lion.
Very good. The barrel shows a mixed brass patina and the tang and lock show a dark gray with pitting. Mild handling marks overall. The stock is good as repaired, with mended cracks and filled patches, along with pressure dents and chipping. Silver shows a fine dark color in the protected areas, with light scratches. Mechanically fine.
