Manufactured circa 1942. This deluxe rifle features a hooded ramp beaded blade front sight and adjustable rear sporting sight. The left side of the barrel is marked with the two line address/proof steel, trade mark, model and caliber legend with the Winchester oval proof is on the top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. The serial number is marked on the bottom of the receiver. All blue finish, 2/3 length magazine tube and mounted with a checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with a Winchester hard rubber grip cap, checkered steel buttplate and sling swivel bases.

Excellent. The rifle retains 99% original blue finish with some very mild edge wear on the receiver. The wood is very fine with some minor pressure dents and handling marks, and sharp checkering. There is a small sliver of wood absent on the upper left wrist at the frame juncture. The markings are sharp. The action is fine.
