Manufactured from 1866 to the late 1880s with a total production of approximately 8,000. These pistols feature a unique pivoting breechblock. The top of the barrel is marked "CONNECTICUT ARMS & MANFG CO NAUBUC CONN." and the top of the breechblock is marked "PATENTED OCT. 25. 1864" and the serial number is marked on the frame under the grip. Brass blade front sight and a notch in the breechblock release button serves as the rear sight. All nickel finish with blue hammer and trigger, and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips.
Excellent. The pistol retains 95% plus unpolished original nickel finish with some high point wear. The grips are also excellent with a couple minor dings and crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent.
