Description:
This unique underhammer percussion pistol is equipped with a checkered walnut stock. The stock has a crescent brass buttplate and a patch box with a German silver lid with a spring loaded door release mechanism on top of the comb. The lower right barrel flat is stamped with a weak marking. The pistol is equipped with a fixed notch rear sight, a fold out front sight extender that is 12 1/4 inches long with a blade sight and a folding peep sight located on the rear of the tang. The pistol grip is checkered.
Rating Definition:
Very good. The pistol has a smooth brown patina. The wood is fine with a couple hairline cracks, crude cut checkering and some minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.
