Manufactured in 1912. Pinned blade front sight, ladder rear sight, full length magazine and saddle ring staple with ring. The barrel has the two line address/patent marking and "32-40" on the left side. The factory proof is on the barrel and receiver. The upper tang has the three line model/trade mark information. Smooth forearm and straight grip stock with crescent buttplate. With a leather scabbard.
Very good. Strong traces of original blue finish remain on the barrel and magazine in the protected areas, otherwise a smooth gray patina with some very scattered light pitting. The wood is very good with a number of minor handling marks, a deep gouge on the wrist and some surface chipping. Mechanically excellent. The scabbard is good with age cracking and handling marks.
