Manufactured in 1921 with takedown configuration. Blade front sight, two leaf folding notch sight, and rear Lyman adjustable peep sight with full length magazine. The top left barrel flat is marked with the two-line address/patent date ahead of the rear sight, the Winchester oval proof and "25-20 W.C.F." at the breech, with an additional oval proofmark on top of the receiver. The takedown lever is marked "-JUNE 6, 1893-". The serial number is on the bottom front of the receiver. Smooth walnut forearm with steel end cap and straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate.
Very good. The barrel assembly retains 75% of the original blue finish mixing to a mottled brown and smooth grey patina on the frame and lever. The markings are clear. The lightly sanded reoiled highly figured wood is good with only a few minor dings and handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
