Manufactured in 1915 with takedown configuration. Blade front sight, rear sight filler block, and rear Lyman adjustable peep sight with full length magazine. The top left barrel flat is marked with the two-line address/patent date ahead of the rear sight, the Winchester oval proof and "32 W.C.F." at the breech, with an additional oval proofmark on top of the receiver. The takedown lever is marked "-JUNE 6, 1893-". The serial number is on the bottom front of the receiver. Smooth walnut forearm with steel end cap and straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate.
Very good. The rifle retains 70% plus of the original blue finish on the barrel assembly with thinning area of mottled brown patina on the barrel and magazine and a silver gray patina on the frame. The casehardened lever and hammer have a smooth gray patina. The forend cap and buttplate have brown speckling. The markings are clear. The reoiled highly figured wood is very good with some minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
