Manufactured in 1907 with a pinned blade front sight and folding leaf rear sight graduated for 50, 100, and 200 yards. The top of the barrel is marked with the two-line address and patent information in front of the 3-leaf express style rear sight and "32-40" on the left at the breech. The front of the frame and the barrel at the breech have the "WP" Winchester proof. The upper tang is marked with the model information and the serial number is marked on the bottom of the receiver. There is a saddle ring and stud on the left side, and it is mounted with a smooth walnut forearm and straight grip stock with a checkered hard rubber shotgun buttplate with the Winchester Repeating Arms emblem.
Very good as partially refinished (cold blue on both sides of frame). The balance of rifle retains 30% of the original blue finish with some bright surfaces on the high areas and a brown patina on the balance. There are some light scratches overall and some traces of case color visible on the hammer and lever. There is some oil/varnish residue on the lower tang. The reoiled wood is very good with some slight pressure marks and few small dents. Mechanically excellent.
