The left rear of the barrel is marked with the two-line address/patent dates followed by "MODEL 1901 10GA." with "FULL" and what appears to be a circled "A" and a cross below. It features a brass bead front sight and a receiver groove rear sight, a 2 7/8 inch chamber and is mounted with smooth walnut forearm panels and a round knob pistol grip stock with the less common checkered steel buttplate. It has sling swivels on the magazine tube and bottom of the butt. The length of pull is 13 1/8 inches.

Rating Definition:

Very good plus. The shotgun retains 50% of the faded original blue finish with most of the finish retains on the receiver and under half on the barrel. There are some minor marks and scratches throughout and a streaked appearance to the barrels. The wood is very good with some small pressure marks and minor scrapes. Mechanically fine with clear markings.
