Manufactured in 1933, with a white bead front sight and a steel mid bead sight on the vent rib, choke marked "SKEET" and a 2 1/2 inch chamber. The barrel and takedown ring have a floral scroll engraving at the breech. The left side of the receiver is engraved with floral scroll and a punch dot background, framing a scene of two dogs looking at a flying grouse in a field with trees in the background. The right side is engraved with floral scroll and a punch dot background, framing four ducks in flight over a marsh. Mounted on a nicely figured, multi-point checkered, extended walnut forearm and straight grip stock with a solid Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. Length of pull is 13 3/4 inches.
Excellent with 99% of the blue finish with only slight handling marks. The engraving and gold inlay is sharp. The wood is very good with some scattered scratches and dings. The checkering is crisp. Mechanically excellent.
