Developed in 1908 and introduced in 1909-1910, the Model 1 (named retroactively after the introduction of the Model 2) was Walther's first entry into the handgun market. Fixed sights, with "WALTHER'S SELBSTLADE-PISTOL CAL. 6,35/D.R.G.M. IN-&AUSLANDSPATENT ANG." on the left side of the slide, "crown/N" proofs on the slide, chamber hood and barrel sleeve, and a pair of "CW" monogrammed grips. With an unlabeled black leatherette box.
Excellent with 97% plus of the original blue finish, showing some bright edge wear and mild handling marks. The grips are very good, with some turning marks on the screws and light pressure dents. The box is fair, with detached and lost components, along with wear and tear. Mechanically excellent.
