Manufactured in 1938. Single brass bead sight, 2 3/4 inch chambers, standard "VULCAN STEEL" marking on the barrel rib, automatic ejectors, and modified/full chokes. Standard light zig -zag border engraving with the Remington "PARKER" logo on the underside, dual triggers, and tang mounted automatic safety. Checkered splinter forearm and stock with a hard rubber grip cap, and hard rubber "dogs head" buttplate. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .733/.734 inch; minimum wall thickness .067/.053 inch; drop at comb 1 5/8 inches; drop at heel 2 3/8 inches; length of pull 13 3/4 inches.

Fine. 95% original blue finish remains with light pitting and dings around the muzzles, light edge wear, and sharp markings. The receiver has a mostly mottled gray patina with some light spotting and handling marks. The buttstock has been carefully repaired at the left side of the wrist with a visible hairline crack, well-defined checkering, and small dings throughout. Mechanically excellent.
