Clark confirms the serial number, caliber, barrel profile, (B) engraving, (B) checkered pistol-grip stock and January 28, 1905 date of shipment to Shoverling, Daly & Gales of New York. Features a German silver beaded blade front and Marbles filler block in the rear sight dovetail, and standard barrel markings. The receiver has factory "B" grade engraving with game scene vignettes of a doe on the right and a buck on the left surrounded by fine American scroll. The upper receiver tang is fitted with a Lyman adjustable rear peep sight. Full blue finish with polished bolt and casehardened lever. Fancy American walnut Schnabel forearm and pistol grip buttstock with factory "B" carved checkering and casehardened crescent buttplate.
