Description:
Manufactured in 1926 with the rarely encountered special order half magazine. Winchester 92 carbines with any special order features are scarce. Pinned beaded blade Marble front and folding ladder rear sights, standard Winchester markings including the factory oval proof on the barrel and receiver, saddle ring on the left side of the receiver, and carbine buttplate.
Rating Definition:
Very good plus, retaining 25% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown-gray patina. The re-oiled wood is fine with some minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
