Measuring 13 1/4 inches overall, with a 9 1/8 inch curved blade with a 3 1/2 inch unsharpened false edge and a 5 inch long panel of gild and niter blue accented floral scroll etching on the right side. The hilt fittings are finely decorated and gold washed, with a sculpted blooming rose on the right side of the dual quillion handguard, set inside a scalloped counter-guard, a chain knuckle guard, gilt lion head pommel and a checkered grip. With a black leather sheath with gold washed and leafy scroll engraved furniture. Attributed as 1800s production.

Very good. The blade has been polished down the left side and in a 4 1/4 section on the right at the tip, having removed some of the etching and finish, with mild spotting, heavier spotting at the bottom right side, and mild handling marks and wear overall. The hilt is fine with mild high point wear and a fine aged color on the grip. The sheath is fine with most of the gilt.
