UNDERBERG" with a single red bead front sight, 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors, improved cylinder/modified marked chokes, Winchester "WP" proofs and additional German proofs on the flats and "WOODCOCK HILL BENTON PA" on the lower rib underneath the forend. Blue flatside receiver with standard markings on the jewelled water table, 21-3 pattern scroll engraving, gold washed single trigger with selector, and automatic sliding tang safety. Nicely figured American black walnut beavertail forearm with engraved fittings, roller latch, and high comb straight grip stock with blank gold initial oval and serrated buttplate. Bore and stock measurements (R/L): chambers marked and measured at 2 3/4 inches; bores 9 inches from the breech measuring at .732/.732; chokes measured .005/.014; minimum wall thickness .028/.035; drop at comb 1 3/8 inches; drop at back of comb 2 inches; drop at heel 2 9/16 inches; length of pull 14 1/2 inches; weight 7 lbs. 13 oz.

Very fine. 99% original blue finish remains on the barrels with clear markings, and a few small handling marks. The receiver has 95% original blue finish with a small cold blue touch up on the left rear of the receiver, and crisp engraving. The wood is excellent with well defined, crisp checkering and a few small scattered dings. Mechanically excellent.
