Rating Definition:

Very good with 99% refinished blue on the barrels, some small handling marks, light oxidation on the right barrel, and some light pitting under the blue. The restored case colors are vibrant and the engraving well defined. The wood is fine with small nicks and dings throughout, freshened checkering, and some small chips around the buttplate. Mechanically excellent. Case is fair with heavy scuffs and scratches on the exterior, dents and patina on the metal fittings, age cracking on the straps, and re-lined interior.
