Manufactured in Italy by Ivo Fabbri, these shotguns are three of the finest in the world and made on a custom made to order basis only. There is about a 6 year waiting period on these shotguns after one is ordered. The blued barrels are choked improved cylinder/modified, with 2 3/4 inch chambers and ejectors, with standard Italian proofs dated 1994, there is a single brass bead sight on the matte vent rib with a gold inlay "1" at the breech. The upper left side of the barrel is marked "IVO FABBRI - BRESCIA -" and the right side "VACUUM ARC REMELTING STEEL". Each of the coin finished surfaces are engraved with incredibly detailed Bulino fantasy scenes of leopards and nude women on each sideplate and the underside of the action with feathers, flowers, and various designs as accents throughout the remaining metalwork. The right side of the trigger guard plate is signed by the Master Engraver "Torcoli Inc." Each side of the action is marked "IVO FABBRI" in gold inlay, with the serial number marked in gold on the lower tang. Single selective trigger, rolled trigger guard, tang mounted safety with gold inlaid "SAFE" and marked "1" in gold below the safety, and mounted with deluxe, extra fancy Circassian walnut finely checkered forearm and straight grip stock with a gold inlay "1" on the forend iron and checkered bare butt. Length of pull 14 7/8 inches. Manrico Torcoli began his career in the firearms industry as a specialized technician for Beretta before pursuing engraving at the encouragement of Firmo Fracassi. The engraved underside of each action in this trio is pictured in Torcoli's section (pgs. 199-201) of the authoritative book on Italian engraving "IL GRANDE LIBRO DELLE INCISIONI" by Marco E. Nobili.
