The included factory letter confirms the current caliber, barrel length, finish, and pearl grips when it was sold to J. K. Moore and shipped to Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Company of Chicago, IL, on June 10, 1897.
Very good, showing traces of blue in the protected areas and a mix of brown/grey patina on the balance. The front cylinder face showing heavy oxidation and some scattered pitting throughout. The replacement non-factory grips are good with a few chips on the corners. Mechanically excellent.
