Replacement (1904 patent) Winchester beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear notch sights, first style barrel inscription, "22 SHORT" on top flat at the breech, Winchester proofs correctly absent, correct early style magazine tube without collar, casehardened Second Model receiver with hidden locking lugs, and standard three-line maker, model, and patent marking on the upper tang. 12 groove slide handle and plain walnut straight grip stock with casehardened crescent buttplate.

Exceptionally fine with 97% plus professionally restored blue finish on the barrel, some small dings visible under the blue, well defined markings, and mild slide retraction marks on the magazine tube and barrel. The receiver has 85% restored thinning case colors with some mild edge wear, light gray patina, and cycling marks on the receiver rails. The refinished wood is very fine with some small scattered dings, and mixed gray patina on the buttplate. Mechanically excellent.
